This blog post dives into 4 key strategies, applicable to both external communication (with others) and internal communication (your inner voice),
that will significantly elevate your communication skills.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “That’s too simple!” But stick with me for a minute. By simplifying our choices, we can actually make better decisions that lead to success.

Think about it: do you want to feel joy or sadness? Be healthy or sick? Strong or weak? Light or darkness? The choice is yours.

Here's a real-life example.

I recently had a technical issue with one of my online classes. It didn’t go out as planned, and only one person showed up out of 38 registered attendees. It was frustrating at first, but I knew I could choose to be sad and discouraged, or I could choose to find the good in the situation.

Guess what? I chose the good. I looked for the lesson in the glitch, and I discovered what went wrong. This new knowledge allowed me to fix the problem and even learn how to prevent it from happening again.

This positive energy carried over into my afternoon appointments. I showed up with a smile and a can-do attitude, and guess what? Both turned into clients!

The point of this story is not to brag, but to show you the power of choosing good even when things seem bad. If I had allowed myself to be overtaken by negativity, I wouldn’t have been able to fully show up for my appointments, and I wouldn’t have been able to connect with those potential clients.

So, how can you apply this concept to your own life?

  1. Identify your choices. When you’re faced with a decision, take a moment to think about the potential outcomes. Which choice leads to joy, health, and strength? Which choice leads to sadness, sickness, and weakness?
  2. Choose wisely. It’s not always easy, but remember that every choice has an impact. Choose the good, even when it’s hard, and you’ll be on your way to success.
  3. Learn from your mistakes. We all make bad choices sometimes. But instead of dwelling on the past, use your mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow.
  4. Focus on the positive. Even when things are tough, there’s always something to be grateful for. Focus on the good things in your life, and you’ll attract more positivity into your world.

Conclusion

Remember, you always have a choice. Choose wisely, learn from your mistakes, and focus on the positive. This is the formula for success!
